- The couple married exorcists close the film but not meet each other.
- The crime has not yet been able to draw experience when poking Liam Neeson's family.
- It is equally dangerous to travel.
In The Commuter, Liam Neeson faces the risk of his kidnapped wife and children. But this time, he is no longer a special agent "invincible superman" anymore. Yet, Michael was stuck on the train at a distance from home. The only thing he could do to save his family was to find the mysterious Prynne character the criminals wanted. From here, the former cop started using his old career skills to find the "unusual face" on his familiar train.
The subjects gradually he was zoned and the viewer is the opportunity "guessing young guess" in the direction of his thinking. The interesting point of The Commuter is how the movie deceive the viewer by the characters chosen by Michael have special questions. Without any clues from gender, age to appearance, the former police officer was no different than the bottom of the tank. One can hardly guess who the Prynne character is until the last moment of the work.
Would Michael want to get out? Have. He tried everything from smuggling another passenger or calling his old friend in the police department. But, everything is within the reach of the mysterious organization. They were quicker in arresting Michael's family, including the "little" passengers he was told. Even an assassin mixes the passengers on board to kill Prynne, the FBI, and even Michael if he is against it. From here, we can see the intelligence and ingenuity of the director when dealing with the situation he created in a very creative way.
However, the film is more dramatic when the character Prynne revealed that the organization has bribed the police. Now, Michael must stand before the multitude of choices when only to save the family or the victim. He does not know who to believe when anyone can be a criminal. Stress, nervousness, tension are the feelings that The Commuter brings to the audience. However, to increase the dramatic, the film encountered a few large grains.
Liam Neeson is no longer capable of "invincible" in melee battles. Although still able to beat quite beautiful but he "eat onions" is mainly ahead of the younger and much stronger opponents. Not much but action scenes in the narrow and obstructed space of the carriages are done very thoroughly. Gaze closer, the situation suffocating to the deadlock for not finding the way out, the film caused the audience to cry on every turn of the ship.
Of course, in addition to fighting, the film must have action scenes featured on the train. In this segment, The Commuter brings a sense of belonging to those who love Speed, Unstopable or Source Code, ... In particular, the film also has a long one-shot stage extremely intense to impress with the phase Dramatic and engaging action takes place in a single scene.
Although the film has the participation of both Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, but the Warren couple can not "reunited" but can only talk on the phone. However, fans of the horror genre can also be happy to know that the Warren still have "business things to do" while not exorcising.
Overall, though not excellent, The Commuter is a true-to-life movie and is characterized by Liam Neeson.
